Time stands still never.
Wish I had forever.
With time I get better.
By whose standards…
Do I measure?
Building my treasure.
My house stands on sand.
Who knows the heart…
Of a woman or man?
Not enough then,
Not enough now.
If not now, then when?
Capture my essence…
With paper and pen.
Bittersweet memories.
My patience wears thin.
Not enjoying the moment,
Was the ultimate sin.
All the time wasted…
On unserious things.
Dreams turn to tragedy,
If wind catches no wings.
Time waits for no one.
That’s what they say.
Old people of wisdom,
Reflect on their day.
Did we leave this world…
In war or at peace?
Did we open our heart…
To the big and the least?
Time be our judge,
Or our worst critic.
Good, bad, and the ugly,
Sweet, sour, or acidic.
Many men tempt fate.
Spreading no love…
Only their hate.
I fear they missed out,
For it was too late.
Mending fences, old wounds too.
Before your time expires…
What will you do?
Our time is limited.
Our chances far and few.
May you shine a light,
For all to admire.
May you stand for right,
And justice never expire.
May the life you live,
Continue to inspire.
Use your time to build,
Not on selfish desire.
Time is so precious.
You can’t spend more,
Than what you have,
Rich man or poor.
The true measure of a man,
Is at its very core…
How he spends his time,
And nothing really more.
